ITINERARY: CANCUN / PLAYA DEL CARMEN - CHICHEN ITZA - CENOTE SELVA MAYA - VALLADOLID

FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE MAYANS: CHICHÉN ITZÁ, CENOTE SELVA MAYA AND VALLADOLID

We'll begin the day departing from Playa del Carmen for one of Mexico's most iconic sites: Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accompanied by a bilingual guide, we'll explore this extraordinary archaeological site to discover the history, architecture, and mysteries of the ancient Mayan civilization. We'll visit the imposing Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Great Ball Court, the Temple of the Warriors, the Sacred Cenote, and other monuments that make Chichen Itza one of the most important cultural treasures in the Americas.

After the visit, we'll head to the spectacular Cenote Selva Maya, where you'll have free time to swim in its crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush vegetation. Then, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring Yucatecan specialties.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the charming colonial city of Valladolid, considered one of Mexico's Magical Towns. We'll stroll through its historic center, admire the Church of San Servacio, the Main Square, and its colorful streets, enjoying free time to discover its authentic atmosphere before returning to Playa del Carmen, bringing to a close a day filled with history, nature, and culture.
