Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá
Welcome to Colombia, a country of extraordinary diversity where the Amazon, the Andes, the Pacific, and the Caribbean converge to create unique experiences. Upon your arrival at Bogotá International Airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you'll have free time to relax or begin exploring Colombia's vibrant capital. Bogotá blends history, culture, and modernity in a city full of contrasts, with charming colonial neighborhoods, internationally renowned museums, local markets, and a diverse culinary scene. This will be your first glimpse into a fascinating country that will accompany you throughout this adventure.
Day 2: Historic Bogotá and Monserrate Hill
After breakfast, we will begin our exploration of Colombia’s vibrant capital with a cable car ride to the iconic Monserrate Hill, one of Bogotá’s most famous landmarks. Rising more than 3,100 metres above sea level, it offers breathtaking panoramic views over the city. There will be time to soak up the traditional atmosphere, browse local handicraft stalls, and sample regional specialties such as aromatic coca tea or the traditional warm drink, canelazo.
We will then continue to Bogotá’s historic centre to discover the city’s remarkable cultural heritage. Our first stop will be the renowned Gold Museum, considered one of the most important museums in Latin America and home to the world's largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold artefacts. Afterwards, we will visit the Botero Museum, which houses an outstanding collection of works by Colombia’s most celebrated artist, Fernando Botero, alongside masterpieces by internationally acclaimed painters.
The tour continues with a leisurely walk through Plaza Bolívar, the political and historical heart of Colombia, before exploring the charming cobbled streets of the colonial district of La Candelaria. Its colourful façades, centuries-old churches, cosy cafés, and art galleries create one of the most enchanting atmospheres in South America.
To conclude the day, we recommend enjoying Colombia’s outstanding cuisine at one of the traditional restaurants in the historic centre, where you can savour local specialties such as the famous ajiaco santafereño, traditional tamales, or refreshing juices prepared from exotic tropical fruits.








Day 3: Journey into the Heart of the Colombian Amazon (Leticia)
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will transfer to El Dorado International Airport for our flight to Leticia, the gateway to the fascinating Colombian Amazon.
Upon arrival at Alfredo Vásquez Cobo Airport, our local team will warmly welcome you and accompany you to the river port, where an unforgettable adventure is about to begin. Aboard a motorized boat, you will cruise along the majestic Amazon River, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest while discovering the immensity, beauty, and extraordinary biodiversity of one of the richest ecosystems on the planet.
After approximately two hours of navigation, you will arrive at Calanoa Lodge, an exclusive eco-lodge perfectly integrated into the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Day 4: Encounter with the Tikuna Culture and Hiking through the Amazon Rainforest
After breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in the world of ancestral traditions with a visit to a Tikuna indigenous community, where we will gain first-hand insight into their customs, worldview, and the deep relationship they have maintained with the Amazon rainforest for centuries. Community leaders will share their way of life, their knowledge of the forest, and the challenges they face in preserving their cultural identity in a rapidly changing world.
During the visit, we will learn about the ancient Pelazón Ritual, one of the most important ceremonies of the Tikuna people, symbolizing the transition of young girls from childhood to adulthood. Through cultural explanations and demonstrations, we will discover the spiritual significance of this initiation rite, which traditionally involved a long period of seclusion, teachings passed down by the elder women, and a great community celebration accompanied by music, songs, and traditional dances. Today, the ceremony continues in a more symbolic form while preserving its profound cultural and spiritual importance.
After lunch, we will set off on a guided hike through the Calanoa Nature Reserve towards the spectacular Matamatá Canyon, located on the edge of Amacayacu National Natural Park. Along the trail, we will discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the tropical rainforest, observing colourful birds, playful monkeys, countless insects, and, with a little luck, some of the mammals that inhabit this unique ecosystem. Our expert guide will introduce us to medicinal plants, centuries-old trees, and the countless secrets hidden within the jungle while sharing indigenous legends, beliefs, and fascinating stories connected to this remarkable environment.
If water levels permit, we will return to Calanoa Lodge by traditional canoe, gliding through the rainforest waterways and enjoying a completely different perspective of the Amazon. During the high-water season, the experience becomes even more spectacular as we navigate through the enchanting flooded forest, one of the most extraordinary and unforgettable natural landscapes in the entire Amazon Basin.






Day 5: Mocagua Island and the Pink Dolphins of the Amazon
After breakfast, we will explore Mocagua Island, located within the area surrounding Amacayacu National Natural Park, one of the most biodiverse regions of the Colombian Amazon. During this fascinating excursion, we will discover lush rainforest landscapes, peaceful natural lagoons, and an extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna, experiencing first-hand one of the richest ecosystems anywhere on the planet.
One of the highlights of the day will be the opportunity to admire the spectacular Victoria amazonica, the world's largest water lily, whose enormous floating leaves have become one of the Amazon’s most iconic natural symbols. Those interested may also enjoy the optional experience of traditional piranha fishing, a fun and authentic activity that has been practiced by local communities for generations and remains one of the region's most cherished traditions.
Depending on the season, the excursion will offer two completely different experiences. During the high-water season, we will glide by canoe through the enchanting flooded forest, navigating between partially submerged trees and hidden waterways. During the dry season, we will explore the jungle on foot, following rainforest trails while discovering a completely different landscape, observing wildlife, and enjoying a unique perspective of this extraordinary ecosystem.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a scenic cruise along the majestic Amazon River towards the Peruvian riverbank in search of the fascinating pink and grey river dolphins, two of the Amazon's most emblematic and charismatic species. The day concludes with an unforgettable sunset over the river, as the sky is painted in brilliant shades of gold, orange, pink, and violet, creating one of the most breathtaking natural spectacles the Amazon has to offer and a truly unforgettable end to another remarkable day in the rainforest.











Day 6: Farewell to the Amazon and Flight to the Coffee Region
At sunrise, those who wish may take part in an optional birdwatching excursion around Calanoa Lodge. The early morning hours offer the perfect opportunity to discover the extraordinary diversity of Amazonian birdlife as the rainforest awakens with birdsong, drifting mist, and the first golden rays of sunlight filtering through the canopy.
After breakfast, we will begin our return journey by boat along the majestic Amazon River back to Leticia, enjoying one last opportunity to admire the breathtaking rainforest landscapes that have accompanied this unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Pereira, with a connection in Bogotá.
Our extraordinary adventure in the heart of the Colombian Amazon comes to an end, leaving us with unforgettable memories of one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, where pristine nature, indigenous traditions, and the immense rainforest combine to create an experience unlike any other.

Day 7: Cocora Valley, Salento, and the Wax Palms
After breakfast, we will board the traditional Willys jeeps, the iconic vehicles of Colombia’s Coffee Region, for a scenic journey to the spectacular Cocora Valley, one of the country’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.
This extraordinary valley is home to the majestic wax palms, Colombia’s national tree, which can reach heights of more than 60 metres, making them the tallest palm trees in the world. The contrast between mist-covered mountains, rolling green meadows, and these towering palms creates a landscape of exceptional beauty and one of Colombia’s most iconic sights.
We will enjoy a guided walk along the valley’s scenic trails, taking in spectacular viewpoints and the remarkable biodiversity of this protected ecosystem. Along the way, our guide will explain the ecological importance of the area, which provides a habitat for numerous bird species, orchids, and many other plants native to the Andean cloud forests.
Later, we will visit Finca El Ocaso, one of the region’s most renowned coffee estates. Here, we will discover every stage of the coffee-making process, from cultivation and the hand-picking of ripe coffee cherries to washing, drying, roasting, and the final preparation of one of the world’s finest coffees. We will also learn about the traditional techniques and sustainable practices that have earned Colombian coffee its outstanding international reputation.
The experience concludes with a tasting of freshly brewed specialty coffee, where you will appreciate the unique aromas and flavours that have made Colombia’s Coffee Cultural Landscape, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous throughout the world.






Day 8: From Colombia’s Coffee Landscapes to Innovative Medellín
After breakfast, we will depart for Pereira, travelling through the spectacular landscapes of Colombia’s Coffee Region, where rolling mountains covered with coffee plantations and picturesque traditional villages accompany us throughout the journey.
Upon arrival at the airport, we will board our flight to Medellín, the renowned City of Eternal Spring. After landing, we will transfer to our hotel located in the exclusive district of El Poblado, the city’s most modern, vibrant, and cosmopolitan neighbourhood.
The remainder of the day will be at leisure, giving you the opportunity to begin discovering the unique atmosphere of Medellín. Stroll through its elegant streets, enjoy the city’s outstanding culinary scene, visit specialty coffee cafés, or simply relax at one of the lively terraces, bars, and restaurants that have made El Poblado the beating heart of Medellín’s urban lifestyle and one of the most attractive districts in Colombia.


Day 9: Medellín – The City of Eternal Spring and Social Transformation
After breakfast, we will enjoy a comprehensive tour of Medellín, the capital of the Antioquia region and one of the most innovative cities in Latin America. Accompanied by a local guide, we will discover how this vibrant metropolis has successfully reinvented itself, becoming a global example of urban transformation, culture, and innovation.
Our first stop will be the iconic Comuna 13, a neighbourhood that was once considered one of the most dangerous areas in Latin America and has since become an inspiring symbol of resilience and renewal. We will stroll through its colourful streets filled with spectacular murals, open-air galleries, music, and urban art while learning about its remarkable transformation and the essential role played by the local community in this extraordinary change.
We will also experience the famous outdoor escalators, an innovative mobility project that dramatically improved the quality of life for thousands of residents and has become one of the defining symbols of the new Medellín.
The tour continues at Botero Plaza, where we will admire the monumental sculptures created by Colombia’s world-renowned artist Fernando Botero. Afterwards, we will visit the Barefoot Park and the modern Parques del Río, attractive green spaces that perfectly reflect the city's remarkable urban renewal.
To conclude the day, we will experience Medellín’s award-winning public transportation system by travelling on the Metro and the famous Metrocable, enjoying spectacular panoramic views over the city, its surrounding mountains, and the neighbourhoods stretching across the hillsides.

Day 10: Guatapé and El Peñol Rock
After breakfast, we will depart for Guatapé, one of Colombia’s most picturesque and photographed towns. Along the way, we will make a brief stop at Alto del Chocho, a scenic viewpoint offering magnificent panoramic views of the mountains of Antioquia and our first glimpse of the region’s beautiful natural landscapes.
We will then continue to the Replica of Old Peñol, a charming historical complex that preserves the memory of the original village, which was flooded during the construction of the Guatapé Reservoir. Here, we will learn about the history of this remarkable transformation and the impact it had on the lives of its former inhabitants.
Next, we will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise across the Guatapé Reservoir, sailing among islands, peninsulas, and rolling green hills that form one of Colombia’s most spectacular landscapes. During the cruise, we will admire the imposing El Peñol Rock, a gigantic granite monolith rising more than 220 metres above the surrounding countryside and considered one of the country’s most iconic natural landmarks. Climbing to the summit is optional and not included, but even from its base you will enjoy magnificent views and excellent opportunities for memorable photographs.
Our visit continues in the colourful town of Guatapé, famous for its brightly painted houses decorated with traditional zócalos, beautiful handcrafted reliefs that illustrate the history, culture, and daily life of the local community. We will stroll along the charming Street of Memories, visit the lively Plaza de los Zócalos, the Main Square, the pleasant waterfront promenade, and the local church, while enjoying the welcoming atmosphere that makes Guatapé one of Colombia’s most beloved destinations.
At midday, we will savour a delicious traditional Antioquian lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Medellín, bringing to a close a memorable day filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, and authentic Colombian culture.














Day 11: Adventure in Río Claro
We will depart early in the morning from Medellín for Río Claro, one of Colombia’s most spectacular nature reserves, renowned for its crystal-clear emerald waters, lush tropical rainforest, and impressive marble rock formations.
Upon arrival, we will begin an action-packed day with an exciting rafting adventure along the transparent waters of the Río Claro. Suitable for all experience levels, this activity combines fun, adventure, and breathtaking scenery. Accompanied throughout by experienced professional guides, we will enjoy a safe and unforgettable journey through one of Colombia’s most beautiful natural settings.
Our adventure continues with the exploration of the famous Río Claro caves, where we will enter a fascinating underground world filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and spectacular galleries sculpted by water over thousands of years. During the visit, we will learn about the geology of this remarkable ecosystem as well as the unique wildlife that inhabits these mysterious caverns.
Later, we will enjoy a guided walk along the reserve’s rainforest trails, surrounded by the lush tropical forest that borders the river. Day 12: Flight to Colombia’s Caribbean Coast (Santa Marta)
After breakfast, we will transfer to Medellín Airport for our flight to Santa Marta, the oldest city in Colombia and one of the true gems of the Colombian Caribbean.
Upon arrival at Simón Bolívar International Airport, our local team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. During the journey, you will begin to admire the spectacular landscapes of the region, where the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea meet the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest coastal mountain range in the world.
After checking into the hotel, you will have the remainder of the day at leisure to start enjoying the relaxed Caribbean atmosphere of Santa Marta. Stroll through its charming historic centre, walk along the lively waterfront promenade, relax by the sea, or discover the region’s outstanding cuisine at one of the city's welcoming restaurants.

Day 13: Tayrona National Park and Cabo San Juan del Guía
After breakfast, we will depart for Tayrona National Natural Park, one of Colombia’s most spectacular protected areas, where the lush tropical rainforest of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta meets the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Upon entering the park, we will begin a pleasant hike along scenic trails surrounded by dense tropical vegetation, passing through forests inhabited by monkeys, iguanas, colourful butterflies, exotic birds, and an extraordinary variety of native plants. Along the way, our guide will share fascinating insights into the park’s exceptional biodiversity and the ecological importance of this unique natural paradise.
After approximately one hour of walking, we will reach the breathtaking Cabo San Juan del Guía, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Colombia. Its crystal-clear waters, golden sand, dramatic granite boulders, and leaning coconut palms create one of the most iconic landscapes of the Colombian Caribbean.
You will have free time to fully enjoy this privileged setting. Swim in the warm Caribbean waters, relax beneath the palm trees, explore the surrounding coastline, or simply admire one of the most photographed natural landscapes in the country.

Day 14: La Guajira – Journey to Cabo de la Vela
Early in the morning, we will depart from Santa Marta in 4x4 vehicles for the spectacular La Guajira Peninsula, one of Colombia’s most authentic, remote, and extraordinary regions. Along the way, we will witness the landscape gradually transform into vast open plains, semi-desert terrain, and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Our first stop will be Riohacha, the capital of La Guajira Department and the cultural heart of the Wayuu people. We will have time for a short walk along the waterfront promenade and to experience the relaxed atmosphere of this charming coastal city before continuing our journey.
We will then travel to Manaure, home to Colombia’s largest sea salt flats. Here, we will learn about the traditional artisanal salt-harvesting process while admiring the striking landscape of brilliant white salt ponds contrasting with the deep blue sky and the Caribbean Sea.
Our adventure continues to Cabo de la Vela, one of the most iconic destinations on Colombia’s Caribbean coast and a sacred place for the Wayuu people. In this extraordinary setting, where the desert meets the ocean, we will enjoy pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs, and spectacular landscapes of remarkable natural beauty.
We will visit the iconic Cabo de la Vela Lighthouse, offering one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Guajira coastline, especially at sunset when the sun slowly disappears into the Caribbean, bathing the desert and the sea in brilliant shades of gold and orange.
At the end of the day, we will stay at a traditional Wayuu guesthouse, where we will enjoy a typical dinner prepared with local ingredients and experience the authentic hospitality of one of Colombia’s most fascinating and least explored regions.







Day 15: Taroa Dunes and Punta Gallinas – Where South America Ends
After breakfast, we will continue our expedition across the La Guajira Desert towards Punta Gallinas, the northernmost point of South America and one of the continent’s most remote and spectacular destinations.
Our first stop will be the breathtaking Taroa Dunes, one of Colombia’s most iconic natural landscapes. Here, towering golden sand dunes descend directly into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, creating a truly unforgettable contrast between the desert and the ocean. We will have time to walk across the dunes, admire the magnificent panoramic views, and capture photographs of one of the country's most extraordinary natural wonders.
We will then continue to Punta Gallinas, a land of wild beauty where the desert, the sea, and the sky blend into a seemingly endless horizon. Along the route, we will travel through arid landscapes inhabited by Wayuu communities, learning about the traditions, customs, and way of life of this remarkable indigenous people, who have adapted to the harsh desert environment for centuries.
We will visit the iconic Punta Gallinas Lighthouse, located at the northernmost tip of South America, where spectacular panoramic views stretch across the immense Caribbean Sea and the endless desert landscapes of La Guajira.
The day continues among secluded beaches, virtually untouched scenery, and extraordinary natural beauty, offering a unique experience in one of Colombia’s most authentic, isolated, and least explored destinations.
At the end of the day, we will stay at a traditional Wayuu guesthouse, where we will enjoy the tranquillity of the desert and another unforgettable evening beneath one of the most spectacular star-filled skies in the Caribbean.








Day 16: Mayapo and Return to Santa Marta
After breakfast, we will begin our journey back from Punta Gallinas to Santa Marta, once again crossing the spectacular landscapes of the La Guajira Desert, where endless arid plains, golden dunes, and the deep blue waters of the Caribbean Sea create one of Colombia’s most extraordinary natural settings.
Along the way, we will stop at Mayapo, one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in the region. This almost untouched paradise is renowned for its long stretches of white sand, crystal-clear waters, and the tranquillity that defines this hidden corner of the Colombian Caribbean. There will be time to walk along the beach, relax by the sea, take photographs, and simply enjoy the beauty of a place that remains largely untouched by mass tourism.
After our visit, we will continue our journey through small Wayuu settlements and the characteristic landscapes of La Guajira, watching as the desert scenery gradually gives way to increasingly lush tropical vegetation as we approach the Caribbean coast near Santa Marta.
This will be the perfect opportunity to appreciate the extraordinary diversity of northern Colombia’s landscapes and bid farewell to one of the country’s most authentic, remote, and fascinating regions.

Day 17: Playa Cristal – A Hidden Caribbean Paradise
After breakfast, we will depart from Santa Marta for Tayrona National Natural Park, one of Colombia’s most spectacular protected areas. From there, we will board a speedboat for the journey to Playa Cristal, cruising across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea while enjoying magnificent views of the coastline, dramatic cliffs, and the lush tropical rainforest that characterizes this remarkable region.
Upon arrival at Playa Cristal, we will discover one of the most beautiful and best-preserved beaches on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Its incredibly clear waters, white sandy beach, and protected natural surroundings make this idyllic destination a true paradise for lovers of the sea and nature.
You will have plenty of free time to swim, relax under the Caribbean sun, or enjoy optional snorkeling, an excellent opportunity to explore the colourful coral reefs and observe a rich variety of tropical fish and other marine life inhabiting these crystal-clear waters.
Those who wish may also walk along the nearby nature trails and experience the tranquillity of this privileged setting, where the tropical rainforest extends almost to the water’s edge, creating one of the most spectacular coastal landscapes in Colombia.
Lunch will be at your leisure (not included), with the opportunity to savour freshly caught fish, seafood, and other traditional Caribbean specialties at one of the beachside restaurants.
In the mid-afternoon, we will return by speedboat to the mainland before continuing by road to Santa Marta, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.










Day 18: Along the Caribbean Coast to Cartagena de Indias
After breakfast, we will set off by road from Santa Marta to the enchanting city of Cartagena de Indias, travelling along one of the most scenic routes on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
During the approximately four- to five-hour journey, we will admire the remarkable diversity of landscapes that define this region, from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and vast tropical plantations to charming Caribbean villages and breathtaking coastal scenery, with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea accompanying much of the route.
As we approach Cartagena, we will begin to experience the vibrant atmosphere and unmistakable character of Colombia’s Caribbean coast, where colourful streets, lively music, and warm hospitality create a unique and welcoming ambiance.
Upon arrival in Cartagena de Indias, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the Americas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will transfer to our hotel for check-in and accommodation.
The remainder of the day will be at leisure, allowing you to begin exploring the city's unique charm. Day 19: Cartagena de Indias – The Colonial Jewel of the Caribbean
After breakfast, we will enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of Cartagena de Indias, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the Americas and proudly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will begin by exploring the magnificent Historic Centre, a true open-air museum where cobbled streets, colourful colonial façades, flower-filled balconies, and lively squares evoke the splendour of the Spanish colonial era. We will also walk along Cartagena’s impressive historic city walls, enjoying beautiful views over the Caribbean Sea while learning about the city's strategic importance during colonial times.

Day 20: Rosario Islands – A Caribbean Paradise
After breakfast, we will transfer to the pier in Cartagena de Indias to board our boat bound for the spectacular Rosario Islands archipelago, a protected National Natural Park and one of the most exclusive and idyllic destinations in the Colombian Caribbean.
During the cruise, we will enjoy an unforgettable journey across the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, where brilliant shades of turquoise contrast beautifully with lush mangroves and the small tropical islands scattered across the horizon.
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by a true tropical paradise of white-sand beaches, swaying coconut palms, and transparent turquoise waters. You will have plenty of free time to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this exceptional natural setting.
Those who wish may take part in optional snorkeling over the vibrant coral reefs, home to an extraordinary diversity of marine life. Colourful tropical fish, corals, and many species native to the Colombian Caribbean inhabit these pristine waters, making it an unforgettable underwater experience.

In the afternoon, there will be more time to relax on the beach and enjoy the tranquil island atmosphere before returning by boat to Cartagena de Indias, bringing to a perfect close a day dedicated to nature, relaxation, and the spectacular beauty of the Colombian Caribbean.

After breakfast, and depending on your flight schedule, you will have free time to enjoy your final moments in Cartagena de Indias. Take this opportunity to stroll once more through the charming streets of the walled city, browse for last-minute handicrafts, or simply soak up the unforgettable atmosphere of Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
At the scheduled time, a private transfer will take you to Rafael Núñez International Airport for your return flight home.
