As we leave behind the vastness of Mexico City, we will begin a journey back in time to one of the continent's most fascinating civilizations. Upon arrival, we will find ourselves before one of the most important pre-Hispanic cities of the ancient world, a place steeped in symbolism, history, and mystery that continues to inspire awe among archaeologists and travelers alike.
We will explore the iconic Avenue of the Dead, lined with temples and ancient ceremonial structures, as we uncover the secrets of a city that once housed over 100,000 inhabitants at its peak. The coast of Oaxaca is considered one of the best places in the world for whale watching. Every year, between December and March, hundreds of whales migrate from the cold northern waters to these warm shores to breed and give birth to their calves. During the boat trip, we will have the opportunity to witness their impressive leaps, their immense tails emerging from the ocean, and the moments of interaction between mothers and calves—scenes that are hard to forget.
The experience is enhanced by the frequent presence of pods of wild dolphins, which often accompany the boats, playing among the waves and offering a spectacle as fascinating as it is spontaneous. Each outing is different, transforming marine wildlife observation into a unique adventure where nature is always the star.
Beyond the photographs, this encounter with the inhabitants of the ocean allows one to experience a deep connection with nature and understand the extraordinary ecological richness of the Mexican Pacific coast.
